To give an insight into Melbourne grown up gothic subculture that attempts to break the stereotypes that popular culture can often have about it.

Most people tend to be quick to judge the whole scene as black clad and scary, but there’s more to it than meets the eye, so this documentary aims to give some details and opinions from the other side of the coin on the different elements on which Melbourne’s grown up Goth’s enjoy. Its not all about dressing in Halloween outfits every day or worshipping darkness or self body modification or listening to evil music, which people tend to think of when you mention gothic.
